Woolworths Group Songwriter’s Festival
Write a song about being there for someone.
The second, annual, Woolworths Group Songwriter’s Festival concluded in February 2020 with a magnificent Grand Final at Max Watts in Sydney, featuring 8 finalists from across Australia and New Zealand.
All the entrants needed to do was to write a song about being there for someone. They didn’t need to be a great singer or songwriting genius and just put their story into song and recorded it however they liked.
The competition was open to anyone and everyone who is employed by the Woolworths Group. The finalists performed in front of a bumper crowd and Taylor Pfeiffer from SA Supermarkets was crowned Overall Winner.
